“The name speaks for itself. For those of you that want the true original sour smell and taste (that even transfers over to oil, hash and rosin) this is a sour lover’s nostalgic strain. Originally grown and bred in Shelter Cove, California ‘SC’ was the nickname before we smelled those sour and cherry terps. Used were the 98 to 2002 common Sour diesel and an Oregon sourced cherry pie. Then I picked the earliest flowering female 5 years in a row till we had one that started flowering mid July and finished early September. Done and trimmed long before the next strains even had time for the hairs to die off. Ideal for rosin, oil and hash makers.”
